The Bachelor's degree program ‘Geodesy and Geoinformation’ at the Technical University of Munich offers a practice-oriented education for the development of a networked and sustainable living environment of the future. Students learn how to gain valuable insights from large amounts of geodata with the help of computer science, mathematics and artificial intelligence.
By using innovative technologies such as data science, digital twins, augmented reality and 4D models, they develop solutions for important social challenges, for example in urban planning, land development, construction projects and climate research. The course prepares students to play an active role in shaping the mobility and infrastructure of the future.
Small study groups provide individual support, allowing students to deepen their interests and work towards their professional goals. The wide variety of courses on offer provides an ideal basis for specializing in specific subject areas and successfully shaping one's own professional career.
TUM promotes sustainable research and hands-on learning in a supportive environment that focuses on the observation and digitalization of the Earth. In this way, students actively contribute to the development of a sustainable and digital world.
